There are two kind of stone chips in market. One is pre-painted stone chips; this is the use of paints to coat natural stone. This chips are very bright mostly when new! But the lifespan is limited to about 2-3 years. Fading is visible after the first few weeks past installation. Other manufacturers use painted stone which quickly changes color due to UV and comes off easily due to low quality basecoats.
The other chip is sintered stone chips; it is the most advanced technology of the chips for stone coated roofing sheet. Sintering is the process of compacting and forming a solid mass of material by heat or pressure without melting it to the point of liquefaction. Sintered stone gives a guarantee of beyond 20 years on color retention. We also offer CL Rocks from French; We offer a guarantee of at least 20 years

Galvalume Steel - Strong the stone coated steel roofing sheets
Coating composition is 55% aluminum in weight ratio (80% surface volume ratio), 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. All San-gobuild® roof products are manufactured from alu-zinc steel which have shown in tests to last 6-9 times longer than ordinary galvanised steel roofing products. This is achieved by protecting the steel core with zinc, which is itself protected by an aluminium barrier. As a pioneer of using alu-zinc steel, San-gobuild® has unrivalled experience in long lasting steel roof tile manufacture.

You may use the best stone chips in the world but if your adhesive is weak, you stand no chance. Your stone chips will definitely flake off. Sangobuild's acrylic coat can
remain a class apart from all competition. If the acrylic coat is too thin, it won't adhere as well,Sangobuild has mastered the art of a perfect coat.
