Coating composition is 55% aluminum in weight ratio (80% surface volume ratio), 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. All Sangobuild® roof products are manufactured from alu-zinc steel which has shown in tests to last 6-9 times longer than ordinary galvanized steel roofing products.

Stone Chips - Why SANGOBUILD stone coated Roof Not FADED, not what you Think!

There are two kinds of stone chips in the market.
One is pre-painted stone chips; this is the use of paints to coat natural stone.
These chips are very bright mostly when new! But the lifespan is limited to about 2-3 years. Fading is visible after the first few weeks past installation. Other manufacturers use painted stone which quickly changes color due to UV and comes off easily due to low-quality basecoats.

The other chip is sintered stone chips; it is the most advanced technology of the chips for stone coated roofing sheets. Sintering is the process of compacting and forming a solid mass of material by heat or pressure without melting it to the point of liquefaction. Sintered stone gives a guarantee of beyond 20 years on color retention. We also offer CL Rocks from French; We offer a guarantee of at least 20 years no fading, no color change.

A: The stone coated roof tile should install the roof which has 20 degrees roof pitch. If the roof pitch is below 20 degrees, it will be easy to leak.

A: Both concrete roofs and wooden roofs could install the stone coated roof tile, but it must install the roof batten before installing the roof tile, except interlock tile.

Q: Will the stone chips fall down after installment?
A: Sangobuild uses the advanced technology "pour glue" to make the stone chips stick firmly with steel sheets. And it also solves the problem of uneven color which is caused by traditional handmake spray glue at the same time.
