Asphalt Shingle is one of the least expensive roofing materials and they are available in a wide variety of colors.Asphalt shingles are commonly used on sloped roofs, single homes, and smaller residential projects just to name a few. This material is very easy to install and provides flexibility during its installation process. Nowadays, shingles are also available with different textures, thickness, and they can be treated against mold and mildew.
They are available in 8 basic profiles: 3-tab,4-tab ,laminated, mosaic, Gothe, fish scale,square,T-lock.

1.STONE CHIPS
All San-gobuild roof tile are coated with basaltic from French CL Rock Group. These coatings add natural beauty to the roof and a hard layer of protection from the weather. Being of natural stone, the vibrant color is protected against the extreme UV of the sun and will never change.
2.FIBERGLASS MEMBRANE
San-gobuild asphalt shingle roofing mainly consists of fiberglass base materials, asphalt saturants, colored mineral granules, and quartz anti-slip sand, etc. We mainly use 95 -110 g reinforced fiberglass covering thickness 2.5mm of modified bitumen, coated with quartz anti-slip sand on the lower surface and colored mineral granules on the upper surface.
3.MODIFIED BITUMEN
Modified bitumen be applied in both hot and cold temperatures. Regardless of how the material is applied, the seams are usually melted together which helps stop leaks. They have a high-tensile strength so they are unlikely to develop the kinds of cracks that other flat and membrane roofs are known for. They are also rated against wind, fire, and hail so they are unlikely to be damaged in the event of a storm. Included in this is usually a very long manufacturer's warranty that can help to guarantee the roof's longevity.
4.FISOL ADHESIVE
Sangobuild can do customize full back adhesive. It is stronger than other supplier's narrow glue. And you don't need to buy and use the extra bitumen glue.

FAQ
Q: Why the temperature should be up to 5ºC when install asphalt shingle?
A: The viscosity of adhesive tape(asphalt mastic) is affected by temperature.It will increase after install asphalt shingle on the roof and exposed on the sunshine with the temperature increase.If the temperature is below 5ºC, the viscosity could not increase and the shingle could not stick on the roof very well.
Q: Is there any requirement for the roof when install asphalt shingle?
A: It is better that the angle of roof is more than 15 degree.If the angle is below 15 degree,the asphalt shingle may arch up.Furthermore,please try to avoid to install the asphalt shingle in gale.Furthermore,the up and down shingles should be staggered.
Q: How many years warranty?
A: The warranty of Sangobuild asphalt shingle are normally 20-30 years.
Q: Does the color fade?
A:The color of Sangobuild asphalt shingle will not fade.We use CARLAC(CL) natural stone chips which is from French and it also supply the stone chips to the factory for asphalt shingle in South of Korea and USA.The granula have excellent performance for weather resistance and against the extreme UV.
Q: The asphalt shingle is self adhesive,why it still need the nail to fix it?
A: Becasue the viscosity of adhesive tape just increase when it reach suitable temperature,so it need to use the nail to fix it on the roof first,after it is exposed on the sunshine and the temperature increase,the asphalt shingle could stick with roof very well.
Q: Is necessary to install the waterproof membrane before install shingle?
A: Yes,it must install the waterproof membrane before install asphalt shingle,we have self adhesive waterproof membrane and ploymer PP/PE waterproof membrane could be choosed.
